Why Prepare?

You may be wondering, "Why do I need to take a bar preparation course?"

The answer is simple. The Law Society has overhauled its admissions process, and will no longer provide any substantive teaching of subjects on the Ontario Bar Exams. (more info)

Without CanBarPrep you will be expected to self-study for two full day — six hour — multiple choice exams that test subject areas including real estate, criminal law, civil litigation, public law, family law, professional responsibility, estate planning and business law.

At CanBarPrep we believe that a self-study program is ineffective for many law students. Many law students will need more assistance than self-study can afford. Also, at law school you may not have studied all the subjects that will be tested on the new Ontario Bar Exams.

What we offer

A Roadmap / Structure & Prioritization

We will assist you in setting priorities for key study topics and managing your time. Our substantive content and instruction does not presuppose you have taken in law school every subject tested on the new Ontario Bar Exams.

Face-to-Face Instruction / Assistance / Tutorial Program

CanBarPrep's unique tutorial program allows students to obtain additional help from our instructors after each day's substantive lectures.

Low Stress / High Value

CanBarPrep's program makes a potentially high stress experience a low stress, valuable, and even enjoyable learning experience.

Success

CanBarPrep is committed to helping you maximize your success on the Ontario Bar Exams.
