INTRODUCTION

This privacy policy explains how personal information about you may be collected, used or disclosed by CanBarPrep Ltd. ("CanBarPrep") as a consequence of your activities on this Web site (the "Site") or your use of CanBarPrep services, including your enrolment in any CanBarPrep courses. CanBarPrep urges you to read it carefully.

By registering on this Site, by enrolling for any courses offered by CanBarPrep or by purchasing any other products or services from CanBarPrep, you agree to the terms of this privacy policy and consent to the policies and practices described for the collection, use or disclosure of personal information.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Canadian law governs the collection, use and disclosure of personal information in a manner that recognizes individuals' right of privacy with respect to their personal information.

CanBarPrep (or its third party administrative services provider or payment processor) will request certain information from you if you choose to enrol for a course or if you purchase any products or services from CanBarPrep ("Registration Information"). Registration Information may include your full name, email addresses, mailing address, employer information, telephone numbers and credit card information.

At times, CanBarPrep may ask you to provide CanBarPrep with general information ("User Information") about you to assist CanBarPrep in meeting your needs or to better understand the requirements, profiles and experience of our Site visitors. This information includes information that is collected if you choose to participate in a survey, if you ask to be kept updated about new developments or services offered by CanBarPrep or its affiliates, or if you contact CanBarPrep.

You can visit this Site without telling CanBarPrep who you are and without providing CanBarPrep with any information about yourself. However, certain anonymous information ("Anonymous Information") may be collected by CanBarPrep automatically, such as the IP address and the name of the Internet service provider ("ISP") associated with the computer from which you accessed this Site. USE OF INFORMATION BY CANBARPREP

Registration Information is collected primarily for the purpose of enrolling you to receive certain Services, including courses offered by CanBarPrep. It may also be used to identify you as a user of this Site and to contact you for the other purposes set out in this privacy policy.

User Information is used only to contact you about new Site developments, to inform you of future courses or other services or products offered by CanBarPrep, to answer your questions and to provide you with services that you have requested.

In addition to the provisions of this privacy policy, the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information is governed by the terms and conditions of use of this Site, a copy of which can be obtained from the home page of this Site.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION

CanBarPrep maintains record retention practices and policies which apply to personal information that is no longer necessary or relevant for the identified purposes, or that is no longer required or no longer permitted by law to be retained.

As a part of our record retention practices and policies, if you email CanBarPrep at canbarprep@canbarprep.com, CanBarPrep will erase all of your personal information upon request, including your Registration Information. If personal information is ever to be used to make a decision about you it will be retained long enough to allow you access to the information after the decision has been made.

YOUR CONSENT

CanBarPrep does not collect, use or disclose your personal information without your consent except where required or permitted by law.

CanBarPrep may, for example, collect, use or disclose personal information without your knowledge or consent in the case of an emergency where the life, health or security of an individual is threatened.

CanBarPrep may also disclose personal information without your knowledge or consent to a lawyer or other advisor representing CanBarPrep, to collect a debt, to comply with a subpoena, warrant or other court order or rules, where required for the investigation or enforcement of laws, or as may otherwise be required or authorized by law. A request that CanBarPrep no longer collect or use your Registration Information or certain User Information or Anonymous Information, may mean that CanBarPrep will no longer have practical means to provide you with its services or products. You may no longer be able to log in to the Site or may lose certain functionality when visiting the Site, including functionality that depends on Anonymous Information such as the placement of cookies.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

CanBarPrep will not sell, trade, rent or license personal information that you provide to CanBarPrep.

CanBarPrep may use a third party service provider to process course registrations, Service purchases and credit card transactions. Please be sure to review any privacy policies and terms and conditions of use set out by the third party service provider.

CanBarPrep may disclose your personal information to third parties who acquire all or a substantial part of the CanBarPrep business, including by merger, amalgamation, a sale of our assets or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy. Subject to a court order, at the time of such merger, amalgamation, sale or bankruptcy, CanBarPrep would contractually require any resulting entity that obtains your personal information to comply with its obligations under applicable privacy legislation regarding your personal information, including the applicable terms and conditions of this privacy policy.

ACCESS AND ACCURACY AND UPDATE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

CanBarPrep will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is as accurate, complete and up-to-date as is appropriate for its purposes and to minimize the possibility that inappropriate information may be used to make a decision about you.

You may contact CanBarPrep to address errors or omissions relating to your personal information by emailing canbarprep@canbarprep.com. CanBarPrep does not share your identifiable personal information with any third party.

Upon request made in writing, CanBarPrep will inform you of the existence, use and disclosure of your personal information, at minimal or no cost to you, in accordance with processes and procedures that CanBarPrep have put in place for such requests. If you are unsure whether CanBarPrep has a record containing your personal information and would like to confirm what personal information CanBarPrep has, please send an email to canbarprep@canbarprep.com with your request, identifying all email addresses which you may have given to CanBarPrep. If there is a cost involved at all, CanBarPrep will inform you at that time.

In some circumstances, CanBarPrep may not be able to provide access to all of the personal information that CanBarPrep holds about you. CanBarPrep may not provide access to information if doing so would likely reveal personal information about a third party, could be expected to threaten the life or security of an individual, reveal confidential commercial information, if the information is protected by a legally recognized privilege, if it was created as part of a settlement or dispute resolution process, or if it was collected in relation to the investigation of a breach of an agreement or a contravention of law. CanBarPrep will provide reasons to you if it refuses an access request.

SAFEGUARDS

E-mails that you send to CanBarPrep are not necessarily secure when they are transmitted to CanBarPrep. If your communication is sensitive or includes confidential information, such as a credit card number, you may want to provide it by post or via the telephone instead.

If you are given a user ID or password by CanBarPrep, it is important that you keep them secure and that you not share them with anyone, in order to safeguard your personal information on our Site.

There are occasionally fraudulent "phishing" emails targeting individuals who the perpetrators believe might be registered users of this Site or CanBarPrep services. CanBarPrep never sends an email which requests users to visit a Web page or place a call and provide their user ID, password or any personal information. CanBarPrep will never ask you to confirm a user ID or password via email. If you ever receive such an email, do not log in from any referred link and do not provide any personal information. You should contact CanBarPrep at canbarprep@canbarprep.com immediately and inform CanBarPrep of the email.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

CanBarPrep reserves the right to modify or supplement this privacy policy at any time. If CanBarPrep makes any material change to this privacy policy, CanBarPrep will update this Site to include such changes and post a notice on our home page, for a period of 30 days, with a link to the updated privacy policy. Please read any such notice and the new policy statement. If you return to this Site after a period of more than 30 days, please check this privacy policy to confirm that you are aware of the details of the most recent update. Please look at the top of this privacy policy to check the date that it was updated and to confirm that you are familiar with the terms of the most recent update. Your continued use of this Site after CanBarPrep posts such notice will constitute your acceptance of the new terms and their application to your use of this Site and the personal information disclosed, including personal information previously furnished to CanBarPrep.

CanBarPrep will always seek your consent if CanBarPrep wishes to use your personal information for purposes other than for those set out in this privacy policy or to which you have previously agreed.
